Notore is the only Manufacturer of Nitrogenous based fertilizer in Sub Saharan Africa and will begin production of Urea and NPK Fertilizers from our Onne Chemical Plant in the last quarter of 2008. Notore has the capacity to produce approximately 500,000 metric tons of Urea fertilizer and blend approximately another 500,000 metric tons of Compound Fertilizer NPK, with plans to grow dramatically to a combined total of well over 2 Million metric tons of fertilizer by 2012.

Fertiliser helps to replace nutrients depleted from the soil with its use for growing crops. The Notore vision began in 2005 when the company bought over the assets of the old NAFCON fertiliser plant located in Onne, Nigeria. Owned by a core team of seasoned businessmen and professionals, Notore is committed to helping Nigeria and the African continent become self reliant in food production.

Our fertilizer plant is strategically located in Onne, Rivers State which has an abundant supply of natural gas, our major raw material. Onne is close to the Atlantic Ocean and we also have our own private jetty which makes it easy for us both to import raw materials, and to service the export fertilizer market
